So this weekend, I took three of our students to the “FAUX-ality Tour” put together by Liz Wolfe and Lacie Grabill. They did a phenomenal job. You can tell that both of these women are women of God, and that they had a passion of this generation of young ladies! I took so many notes- it was AWESOME!
One thing that I felt that God was dealing with me about was the Scripture Psalm 139:14:
“ I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.”
See, I was ecstatic about my Baby, and I knew how amazing and beautiful and wonderfully made little Baby P. is inside of me. But lately I have really been battling with the weight gain that goes along with pregnancy and did no think that I was beautiful. Kyle would tell me every day, I had grown up in church, I know this Scripture, but I was still not feeling it. Pastor Liz- was awesome at “bringing it all home” yesterday at the conference! Don’t get me wrong, I was there for my girls that attended, but I felt God speaking to me too! She said that some of her need to be able to change our faux-ality to the REAL-ality of God Scripture. We need to look in the mirror and say to ourselves that, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made! I am a masterpiece!”
Thank You LORD! That was me! You still came into my heart and spoke to me at a young ladies conference. I pray for all the young ladies out there struggling with depression, weight issues, self esteem issues, LORD may they see themselves as You see them. May they understand that they are the daughter of the King, they are a princess. May these girls not compromise their hearts but may they live their best for You! May they be blessed and protected by You as they walk in obedience to Your Word. We love You LORD! AMEN!

Glad to hear it was great….I emailed Mary Beth about conference offered in Michigan and I think I am going to take Brea to the day they are in southern Michigan.
I hope the effects are as memorable as yours!
Love your posting!

So, are you going to the Faux-ality tour when it is at Sterling Heights? Or is it a different conference?
